After last week's "Legends Week," which was won by Richie Howson, another regular week of play of the
MODUS Super Series is scheduled this week. After the first three days of play,
Gary Stone has qualified first for the Final Stage on Saturday.
The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament with 12 players competing from Monday through Friday for a spot in the final group, which takes place on Saturday night. The player who finishes first after three sessions qualifies directly for the final night on Saturday night. On final night, players compete in a small group stage, followed by semifinals and a final to determine the weekly winner.
The competition begins again the following week, with twelve new players competing for the title. After twelve weeks of competition, all weekly winners compete in "Champions Week," which is played every thirteen weeks of play to determine who wins the series and one with the top prize of £20,000.
Bradly Roes left the first three days without a win
This week the first week of Super Series 10 is scheduled. After the first day it was American
Adam Sevada who was still in the lead. After the second day Jack Tweddell took over the lead, but in the end it was Gary Stone who won after a strong final day of play. Stone and Tweddell both totaled 22 points, but thanks to more won legs it was Stone who managed to qualify for the Final Stage.
Tweddell may join Adam Sevada, Scott Taylor and Arne Spee in a new group over the next two days in another attempt to qualify for the Final Stage. Bradly Roes will also get another chance. For now, the Dutchman did not manage to win a single match in 15 matches.
