Gerwyn Price will soon head to the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim for the last European Tour of the season and he is a name to be feared if his exhibition result over Luke Humphries is anything to go by.
Price averaged 116.61 hitting four 180's with the best leg being an 11-darter and a 104 checkout. Humphries didn't play poorly but he lost 9-0 in the MODUS/MDA exhibition and averaged 93.14 in the process.
Other players who were in Stevenage included Steve Beaton and Adrian Lewis while Vincent van der Voort also made a special appearance. Van der Voort sealed a 3-2 win over Steve Beaton in his match with the Dutchman looking more streamlined than ever.
Phil Taylor was also there but as ever doesn't play anymore so just appeared at the exhibition. Gerwyn Price will face off against Daryl Gurney or Christian Kist in the evening session on Saturday night so will currently be en route to Hildesheim.
He reached the latter stages of the World Grand Prix losing out to Luke Littler in a thriller but his form has been looking good as of late so it is a good sign ahead of the end of the year which sees the European Championship next weekend as well as Grand Slam of Darts and Players Championship Finals before the PDC World Darts Championship.
