Graham Hall leads MODUS Super Series Week 2 Group A as Simon Whitlock makes superb start

After the opening day of Week Two Group A in the MODUS Super Series, it is finely poised with Graham Hall top of the pile but Simon Whitlock close by.
Whitlock is making his debut this week in the format and sits on six points, two behind the leader who won four and lost one on Monday. Whitlock on the other hand is locked on six alongside Tommy Morris. Both of whom have won three and lost two.
Andy Hamilton and Andreas Nikolaou are both on four points apiece. While Steve Robertson sits slightly adrift on two points but ahead of Day Two, that could all change.

The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament with 12 players competing from Monday through Friday for a spot in the final group, which takes place on Saturday night. The player who finishes first after three sessions qualifies directly for the final night on Saturday night. On final night, players compete in a small group stage, followed by semifinals and a final to determine the weekly winner.
The competition begins again the following week, with twelve new players competing for the title. After twelve weeks of competition, all weekly winners compete in "Champions Week," which is played every thirteen weeks of play to determine who wins the series and one with the top prize of £25,000.
Whitlock and Hamilton start in Group A alongside Graham Hall, Steve Robertson, Tommy Morris and Andreas Nikolaou so the victor goes through to Finals Night while the remaining players join the two groups in the evenings in Jamie Hughes, 'Wolfie' Martin Adams and Ashley Coleman in Group B with Group C comprising of Jenson Walker, James Hubbard and Adam Mould.
The top three players from Group B and the top two players from Group C qualify for Finals Night. The rest are eliminated. Finals Night is played on Saturday evening starting at 10pm where the players compete in a small group stage followed by semi-finals and a final to determine the weekly winner.

- Likewise, I have always been a fan of Mervyn and with this worry on his mind, it explains why his form and ranking plummeted. It is really sad to hear this, often chatted to Mervyn and Tracey during the Lakeside days, both are lovely people. It does seem naive not acknowledging the fact it was earnings, surely there must be others in the same situation. - What’s with the dogs element to this story, trying to pull at the heart strings? Just goes to show that being a good dart player does not equate to being that bright. Seriously, ‘I thought you didn’t have to pay tax on winnings’ , your a pro dart player and its your line of work, your not playing the lottery or placing a bet. - The thing is... the folks who "humiliated" Taylor in the Seniors Events never really achieved anything in the important events - like Taylor did. Taylor had/has nothing to prove... and beating Taylor after he had retired is of zero value. Taylor in his prime would have made easy work of all of them. Cheers.MrYnyslas197107-03-2025
