Emma Raducanu has a similar story to Luke Littler's. At just 18, the Brit burst onto the scene by winning the US Open, one of tennis' four Grand Slam tournaments. Although Littler came through slightly earlier, he was only 17 when he triumphed at the recent 2025 PDC World Darts Championship in early January.
Raducanu follows darts closely and recently expressed her delight at Littler's performances. "Amazing respect to him," she began. “Big time [interested in meeting Littler]. I'd love to meet any top athletes and top individuals who have succeeded in their fields."
Littler has now responded to that invitation, but admitted he is not as familiar with Raducanu's own world-conquering achievements. "We [he and Raducanu] have had no involvement as of yet," the Nuke responded in quotes to the Daily Mail. “I didn’t know much about her but I know she won what she did at a young age. I’m sure her social media team or mine will be in touch. And I’d like to meet up."
Littler was stranded in the semifinals of the Dutch Darts Masters last weekend after a 7-6 defeat to Stephen Bunting. This week he will be back in action once again at the Winmau World Masters, where he will take on a qualifier in his opening match. A week later, he starts as defending champion in the new Premier League Darts season, taking on Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals on the first day of play, a rematch from their recent Ally Pally final.
