Jarred Cole was known as a very big talent in youth. The Englishman won the youth tournament of the Finder Masters and also won two tournaments on the PDC Development Tour. However, a PDC Tour Card remains a dream for now, although he is certainly not giving up.

Cole currently still works alongside darts, although his work is also related to darts. "I moved down here about two years ago and I was looking for work as I'd moved down from where I was from. Long story short, I was invited to give it a go as a trial shift. I've always been good with my maths so it was something they thought I'd be good at and well I seem to have settled in quite well. It can be quite difficult if you get players like Brian Raman it's certainly a difficult one. Good luck spotting bull, double 16, bullseye. It has its moments," Cole laughed.
"I love working behind the scenes but my job is on the stage," continued the 24-year-old. "I wouldn't say it's been a straight forward road. There's been a lot of success, there's been a lot of highs and downs. In the long run, I want to make it more ups and downs and progress and make it onto the tour full time."
"Q-School's been a mixed up and down. I've beaten some of the players that are now on tour and unfortunately it never happened for me to get my tour card but I've been close so many times. Ultimately the Aaron Beeney one was in my own hands."

Lakeside
Cole was also active at the 2022 WDF World Championship, where he made it to the third round. "it was incredible. When I first qualified it was a dream come true. It was a massive bucket list thing for me to say I've played at Lakeside and experienced it. I can't put it into words. The atmosphere that is built and the legacy can't be changed."

In preparation for another attempt at Q-School, Cole occasionally plays in the MODUS Super Series. "Next January I want to go to Q-School as fit and ready to play as possible. I want to be in the best place mentally and physically. It is a long week. It's a very aggressive week, it's do or die almost."
