At the MODUS Super Series, six players start in Group A, playing once daily from Monday through Wednesday against the other players in the group. Of the 15 matches, Van Peer managed to win 10 of them, as did Thibault Tricole and Robert Thornton.
Of the trio, however, Van Peer had the best leg balance, concluding the pool as number one. All other darters will get another chance to qualify for the final day later this week.
Tricole and Thornton continue in Group B where they will be joined by Stu Wilson, Chas Barstow and Paul Hogan. They will compete Thursday and Friday for three starting tickets to the final group. Adam Hunt, Jerry Hendriks and Scott Winder will join Carl Sneyd, Robert Grundy and Martyn Turner in Group C. There, two more spots are up for grabs for the final group.
