(VIDEO) Back-to-back nine-dart finishes in back-to-back matches in monumental scenes at MODUS Super Series

There is something about Portsmouth today and the MODUS Super Series with the blue touch paper firmly lit and nine-dart finishes raining out in back-to-back matches by Lee Cocks and Tommy Lishman.

Cocks did it in style winning the match against Pontus Danielsson in a deciding leg with the nine-dart finish. He went the usual route of two 180's followed by the 141 and claimed the win in some fashion.

This was followed up superbly by Tommy Lishman albeit not in winning the tie against David Evans. He seemed to have gained some perchance for nine-dart finishes after watching on as Cocks hit his as in the very next match, he was also perfect.

He went the same route and even with some hesistancy as he began his seventh dart of the combo, he managed to hit it and went mental on stage as a result. Commentator Henry Deacon said on social media about getting his voice back after calling both and it was certainly a moment not to be missed this morning at the MODUS Super Series.
