Gary Anderson has saw off Chris Dobey in a tie break thriller that included 32 legs of drama culminating in the two time back to back World Champion moving through.

Dobey pushed him all the way in a match that included 28 180’s between the pair as Anderson kept in contention at the Alexandra Palace. He came from 2-0 in sets against a player that had mentored him but in typical Anderson fashion he proved himself when it counted. Dobey himself went one away from the win but when Anderson pulled away to a tie-break he averted the scare. for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.
