Anderson first semi-finalist in Gelsenkirchen after victory over Lewis

Gary Anderson has reached the semi-finals at the German Darts Masters after beating Jamie Lewis 8-6. The Scotsman will face Michael van Gerwen or Dimitri van den Bergh later tonight.

Lewis took an early 4-2 lead, but missed opportunities to break 'The Flying Scotsman' for a second time. Anderson managed to hold throw as he hit double 1 and levelled the game in the tenth leg with a 13-dart leg.
After that, the momentum turned in the favor of Anderson, who held his own throws comfortably. He broke Lewis in the fourteenth leg to seal the victory.
