The winner of the German Darts Masters claims 20,000 pounds, the runner up gets 10,000 pounds. The sixteen participants are guaranteed 1,250 pounds.
With a win in the first round, that amount is doubled to 2,500 pounds. In the quarterfinals, players get the chance to double their prize money again. The losers from the semi-finals receive five thousand pounds for reaching that stage.
