Gary Anderson returns on the stage on Sunday for the final day of the Melbourne Darts Masters after beating Damon Heta 10-7 in the quarter-finals.

The Scotsman reached his third World Series semi-final of the season, while he won the event in Las Vegas one month ago. Heta was able to follow Anderson and claimed three of the first six legs. After the break, the world number four managed to break the Aussie Ace twice to lead 7-3.
Heta put his fourth leg on the scoreboard in leg twelve, after hitting double 20 for 8-4. The 31-year-old from Perth even came back to 8-6 with a 12-dart leg and a 67 checkout.
At 9-7, Anderson managed to find his trebles again and left 103 after nine darts. 'The Flying Scotsman' would not finish within twelve darts, but hit double 20 in his fifth turn to book his place in the next round.
The world number four will face Michael Smith in the semi-finals on Sunday. 'Bullyboy' produced a brilliant comeback to edge out world champion Rob Cross.
