Anderson reflects after losing Premier League semi-final: “The way I’ve played this year it was a bonus for me to reach the semi-finals”

Gary Anderson reached the semi-finals of the Premier League last night losing out to Michael Smith, his protege and he gave a few words after his defeat.

’The Flying Scotsman’ admitted that he deserved to win and for him the way he played this year meant reaching the semi-finals was a bonus. Anderson summed up his Premier League season as alright and said that he had some good and some bad games in his run in to the playoffs. “Michael played a good game tonight and he deserved to win,” admitted Anderson, who qualified for the Play-Offs for a fifth successive year. “The way I’ve played this year it was a bonus for me to reach the semi-finals. “I’ve had some good games and some bad games, but overall I think I did alright in this year’s Premier League.”
