Anderson returns for German World Series

Kyle Anderson has been selected as a seed for the German darts masters World series event next month.
The 'Original' has been in scintillating form of late, picking up his first pro tour win in Barnsley before taking the title of Auckland Darts master in New Zealand last month, and has been rewarded with a seeded spot for next months finale in Dusseldorf.
Daryl Gurney has also retained his spot as a seed. The Northern Irishman made the final of the Las Vegas Masters on his debut in the event, before being invited down under at the expense of Gerwyn Price. Gurney has kept ahead of Michael Smith who misses out for the German leg.
Michael van Gerwen also returns to World Series stage after missing the Oceanic tour. The world number one chose to sit out the last 3 events due to the birth of his child, but picked up a European tour title on his return to PDC events. He replaces Simon Whitlock in the line-up.
The German contingent will definitely be represented by Max Hopp and Martin Schindler. The pair represent Germany at the World cup of darts and have been selected as invitational players for the event. They'll be joined by the top 6 players from the German Superleague after its conclusion on October 9th.
