Gary Anderson whitewashes Rob Cross in brilliant PC3 last 16 victory

Gary Anderson routed Rob Cross 6-0 to reach the quarter-finals of Players Championship 3.

The Flying Scotsman averaged a brilliant 108.7 in the whitewash defeat of the world champion. Anderson needed just 83 darts across six legs, checking out 170 and 104 in that time. Peter Wright also secured a 6-0 success, brushing aside Darren Webster.
Joe Cullen and Jeffrey de Graaf both won in deciding legs against Gerwyn Price and Jelle Klaasen respectively. Steve Hine kept up his fine run in Barnsley. The Muffin Man saw off Ritchie Edhouse, winning 6-4. Brendan Dolan, Richard North and Jamie Lewis also picked up wins.
