Apprentice Smith beats Master Anderson at Players Championship 17

Michael Smith beat Gary Anderson in the fourth round of Players Championship 17 after a fantastic game. 'Bullyboy' claimed victory after hitting a 13-dart leg in the legdecider.
Both players averaged over 107 in this game, while all legs were won within fifteen darts. After beating Anderson, Smith will now face James Wade. 'The Machine' edged out Wayne Jones 6-0.
Peter Wright and Simon Whitlock will meet each other in the first quarter-final. Kim Huybrechts and Martin Schindler will also battle for a place in the semi-final.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier.
