Cross survives nine-dart finish Van der Voort and reaches last 16 in Barnsley

Rob Cross has reached the last 16 of Players Championship 17 after defeating Vincent van der Voort 6-3. The Dutchman hit a nine-dart finish against the world champion but couldn't cause an upset against 'Voltage'.
Cross will now meet Dave Chisnall, who edged out Cristo Reyes 6-5. Two-time world champion Gary Anderson faces Michael Smith, while Peter Wright awaits a clash with James Wilson.
