A pair of familiar names came out on top during the first ever weekend of PDC Asian Tour action.

The new Asia-wide circuit will bring together the continent's best players in front of big crowds. The first Asian Tour venue was Seoul, with the South Korean capital hosting two events across the weekend. 200 players competed for the two trophies on offer. A major PDC star featured throughout; Russ Bray was the main stage's match referee.
Serial Pro Tour dropout Royden Lam took the first of the two titles on offer. However, his victory in the final was overshadowed by a moment of magic from opponent Noel Malicdem. The Philippines ace was 1-0 down, but then struck a brilliant nine-darter. It did not deter Lam, as the Hong Kong star claimed a 5-3 victory.
Japan's Asada, who featured at the World Championship in December, took the win in the second event. 'Slightly Drunk' Asada beat compatriots Arashi Matsumoto and Haruki Muramatsu before meeting home favourite Hyun-Chul Park in the final. Park was left to rue missed match darts, as he failed to convert a 4-3 lead into victory. Given a second chance, Asada struck back. He levelled the tie, before winning in a deciding leg.
The Tour moves on to Macao next, with two events taking place on April 28-29.
