Nathan Aspinall moved into the third round of the Dutch Darts Masters after a brilliant performance against Benito van de Pas. The former World Youth Championship runner-up impressed with a 102.24 average in a 6-1 defeat of 'Big Ben'.
Michael van Gerwen made an succesful return on the PDC Tour as he overcame countryman Jeffrey de Zwaan 6-1 to reach the third round. 'Mighty Mike' took out 160 en route to his victory. Daryl Gurney and Simon Whitlock booked their place in the last 16 after beating Steve West and Kirk Shepherd.
