Raymond van Barneveld put his UK open disappointment behind him and defeated Gerwyn Price 7-5 in game 2 of tonights Premier League. The five time world champion still wasn't at his best as Leeds produced a second under par match up in two games. Barney and The Iceman traded breaks of throw to open the encounter, RvB getting on the board first in seven visits. Price's first leg was much better, the Welshman chalking up his first in a 13-dart leg.
Two more breaks followed before both men managed their first hold of throw. Price stepped up at that point to take the next 2 legs. Putting himself 5-3 up and just one leg away from another hard fought Premier League point. Barney had other plans though, and reeled off 4 successive legs to win the match 7-5.
