Bates, Hughes, McGeeney and Shepherd move into last eight at Q-School

The Quarter-Final line up has been confirmed on day one at PDC UK Q-School with Jamie Hughes and Mark McGeeney among the players through.
Hughes posted an average of 109 to once again show his credentials as one of the favourites today at Q-School.
He defeated Kevin Thomas 5-1 to move through towards the first Tour Card.
McGeeney edged out the experienced Jonathan Worsley 5-3 with an 89 average while Scott Baker’s run was ended by Dafydd Edwards.
Aldo through include experienced names including Barrie Bates and Kirk Shepherd with the latter looking to regain his Tour Card at the first time of asking.
