Dave Chisnall is the first player through to the Quarter-Finals at the World Grand Prix with the St Helens ace punishing a woeful performance from his opponent Raymond van Barneveld.

Chisnall started the match off receiving some good fortune like he did for most of the contest with Barney missing six darts at doubles and as a result he snatched the first leg on tops.
Van Barneveld came back to hold throw for one a piece hitting D16 but Chizzy moved back ahead claiming the first leg 3-1.
When they returned he continued that dominant start with D8 and despite having trouble closing out the second set, he eventually claimed it easily once again 3-1.
Then he claimed the tie in a straight sets victory with five 180's to his name. Van Barneveld on the other hand could only muster an average of 76 and 15% on his finishing doubles.
