Gary Anderson is through to the Quarter-Finals of the World Grand Prix after seeing off Jeffrey de Zwaan in a rampant display from the in form Flying Scotsman.

Anderson has been brilliant all year recently adding the Champions League to his UK Open and World Matchplay triumphs and he has to be one of the favourites to take the title this week.
He won 9-1 in legs in straight sets sealing the deal with a 130 checkout with De Zwaan struggling throughout averaging only 80 in the end. This was a far cry from his brilliance a few nights back.
'The Flying Scotsman' started the first set ominously winning it 3-0 with De Zwaan at the time only averaging 70. 'The Black Cobra' got his first leg on the board in the following leg hitting a 180 and taking out 69. This did not trouble Anderson though who went on to take the set hitting 90 on the bull.
In the final set, the recent Champions League winner hit a 177 and a D5 to go to the front and then he went on to double his lead before his aforementioned 130 checkout to win.
