Chisnall produces third nine-dart finish of the day during Players Championship 2

It's raining nine-dart finishes in Wigan during Players Championship 2, as Dave Chisnall produced the third perfect leg of the day.
Chisnall finished his 6-2 win over Rowby-John Rodriguez in style with a stunning nine-dart finish. 'Chizzy' will now face Rob Cross in the fourth round of Players Championship 2.
Earlier today, Geert Nentjes and Chris Dobey managed to hit a perfect leg as well. The Dutchman made his debut on the PDC Pro Tour this weekend, while Dobey produced the perfect leg in his leg-decider against Dave Prins.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
