Wade will next face Jelle Klaasen while Lewis will face Rob Cross in what could be one of the ties of the day tomorrow. Lewis though in particular only just squeezed through against Ritchie Edhouse and was 5-3 down but found a way to turn on the afterburners and win.
Wade was solid in his win over Steve Beaton averaging in excess of 100 throughout the contest and prevailing 6-3 against 'The Bronzed Adonis'.
Also through alongside Lewis and Wade is Gabriel Clemens, the former World Masters semi-finalist averaged the most in the evening session in a great display against Thomas Junghans.
Clemens could be a major danger this weekend and he next has Mervyn King and with 'The King' also in some good form it could be a close encounter.
