Dobey continues brilliant form, Noppert makes winning start on Euro Tour debut

The European Darts Open first round is coming towards its conclusion and we have the next three players who are through to tomorrow's second round. They include Chris Dobey and Danny Noppert who put in good displays to see off Wayne Jones and Jeffrey de Zwaan respectively.

Also through is Jermaine Wattimena who defeated Jonny Clayton with a 6-2 win for the in-form Dutchman who enjoyed over 50% on the doubles and will face Alan Norris tomorrow.
Chris Dobey hit a 93 average on the way to a 6-1 victory over Wayne Jones who averaged only 78.83 in defeat. 'Hollywood' hit a high checkout of 164 on the way to his victory over the former World semi-finalist.
Also Danny Noppert made his Euro Tour debut with a 6-4 victory over Jeffrey de Zwaan with the former Lakeside semi-finalist looking good with a 92.17 average ahead of a clash with Joe Cullen tomorrow.
