Cole, Humphries, Rydz and De Decker move into quarter-finals on Development Tour

We are into the latter stages of the final Development Tour event of the weekend with the likes of Jarred Cole, Luke Humphries, Callan Rydz and Mike de Decker making it through to the Quarter-Finals.
Cole saw off Harry Ward, one of the leading lights of this weekend in a 4-1 win with a 94 average. Rydz has also been one of the leading lights and he came through against Keelan Kay who has impressed on the JDC Tour. Corey Cadby was the big name to exit out at this stage losing out to Connor Scutt in a tight affair.
Wigan hosts the second of five weekends in this year’s PDC Development Tour, which will each feature four £10,000 tournaments for players aged 16-23. The likes of Jeffrey de Zwaan, Luke Humphries, Bradley Brooks, Corey Cadby Mike de Decker and Dawson Murschell have entered these events.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
