Cross and Suljovic through to final day in Leverkusen

Rob Cross reached the third round at the European Darts Open after seeing off Steve Beaton as the former world champion averaged over 101 to go through.

Cross stormed into a 4-0 lead, before Beaton claimed two legs to halve the deficit. 'The Bronzed Adonis' got one more leg as 'Voltage' concluded the match in the nineth leg.
Mensur Suljovic booked a hard-fought 6-4 victory over Matthew Dennant, who qualified for this tournament through the UK Qualifier. 'The Gentle' averaged 99.6 with 75% on the doubles to move into the third round in Leverkusen.
