Wright booked a 6-3 victory over Daryl Gurney to move into the last four. He made the difference with his finishing as he was 50% on the doubles, while Gurney missed fifteen darts on the doubles throughout the match.
Cross defeated Justin Pipe 6-2 and produced a ton plus average for a third time this tournament. After Pipe came 2-1 up with a 170 checkout, Cross won the five remaining legs on the spin to claim the victory.
