Cross faces Van Gerwen in final after defeating Wright

Rob Cross reached his third final on the PDC European Tour as he moved into the final at the European Darts Open after beating Peter Wright.

The former world champion moved into a 5-2 lead, before Wright came back to 6-5. Cross avoided a leg-decider and hit a superb 12-dart leg to book his place in the final, where he will face Michael van Gerwen.
