Rob Cross has continued his excellent form as of late as he survived a late comeback from Peter Wright as the Premier League begins in Liverpool.

Cross cements his top spot in the league as a result with a performance that included a 102 average, four 180’s and 53 percent on the doubles. He started off superbly racing into a 3-0 lead with a 13 darter and 140 checkout highlights for ‘Voltage’.
Wright though stuck with him as he pegged legs back but it looked potentially all over when Cross went 6-2 up hitting a 105 checkout to assert his dominance. ‘Snakebite’ stuck with the task though going two behind with a 12 darter which was a 106 checkout.
Cross finally claimed a point at 7-4 and despite a 104 checkout to keep himself alive at 7-5, Wright fell 8-5 in a thrilling first contest.
