Rob Cross has cemented his status as one of the favourites for the title this weekend. ‘Voltage’ had to survive a spirited comeback from his opponent Kyle Anderson though.

Anderson came for 7-2 down to trail 9-7 against Cross but ultimately Cross was too strong and will be hoping to add his name to the trophy.
Cross hit a 98.3 average and six 180’s in his victory. Joining him is David Pallett, he defeated the last remaining UK Open champion James Wade. This means a new winner come Sunday.
Also having a remarkable run is Paul Hogan. The Riley’s Qualifier who is part of the furniture at Minehead has had another class run. He defeated Jeffrey de Zwaan who vanquished Michael van Gerwen.
