Rob Cross came through to defeat Daryl Gurney but it could of been so much easier from the World Champion. He was cruising but missed hosts of match darts which allowed Gurney to mount a comeback.
In the end though ‘Voltage’ came through in a thrilling 7-4 victory for the current World Champion. He hit a 96 average, four 180’s and two ton plus checkouts in climbing to second in the table.
Cross will be back later as he aims to make it two wins from two against Gary Anderson; who he defeated for the first time previously in the league phase.
