Cross averaged 96 in a win that continues brilliant form for ‘Voltage’ who looks a major threat for the title today.
He will face Dave Chisnall who himself averaged 102 in a brilliant win over Stephen Bunting.
Jeffrey de Zwaan also impressed averaging 106 in smashing John Michael 6-1 as the action in Wigan reaches the Last 16 stage.
