Rob Cross has proven the doubters wrong and has claimed his first PDC ranking title since his World Championship triumph in January. He defeated Ian White 6-4 in the final in a game that towards the end could have gone either way.

Cross went 4-0 up and White pulled it back with The Diamond smashing through the legs to get back on level terms with the World Champion.
White missed multiple sets of darts to go 5-4 up which killed his hopes of overturning the defecit. In a day that has seen seeds tumble left right and centre it was one of the top seeds that claimed the title.
