The final has been confirmed at Players Championship 13 and Ian White will face Rob Cross after a day that has seen seeds tumble left & right but two have ended up in the final.
White is known as one of the most consistent players on the Pro Tour and will be aiming to add another Players Championship title. He got through to the final in a tight clash with Jermaine Wattimena. An average of 104.1 saw him win 6-5.
Cross had a much smoother route through smashing Stephen Bunting 6-1. It is a confidence boosting run for the World Champion who hasn’t won a title since his triumph at the Alexandra Palace. He will hope to change that shortly.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
