Cullen and Cross impress with high averages

Joe Cullen produced the highest average of the German Darts Grand Prix so far as Ian White, Benito van de Pas and Rob Cross also reached the last-16.
Cullen averaged a massive 108.30 in his 6-3 win over Tony Martinez. 'The Rockstar' maintained a very high level throughout the match. After the Belgian had taken out 160 to stay in the match, Cullen hit double four to round off a strong performance.
Ian White got the better of Jermaine Wattimena in a close encounter. The two were evenly matched as neither player was able to create a significant gap. A timely 120-checkout in leg ten secured a 6-4 victory for the Englishman.
Benito van de Pas took four legs in a row against Jamie Caven after the pair had evenly shared the first four: 6-2. The poor season continues for 'Jabba', who last reached the last-16 of a ranking event back in March.
Rob Cross hit finishes of 150 and 104 in the process of taking a comfortable 3-0 lead over Jan Dekker. The rest of the match went with throw as Cross triumphed 6-3 in a high-quality contest that saw him average 103.81.

Ian White (95.42) 6-4 (96.70) Jermaine Wattimena
Joe Cullen (108.30) 6-3 (93.00) Tony Martinez
Benito van de Pas (97.94) 6-2 (92.72) Jamie Caven
