Cullen edges out Durrant, in-form Smith dumps out Wright

The second day of action at the German Darts Grand Prix is complete with Joe Cullen, Simon Whitlock and Ross Smith the final players through to the final day.

Cullen edged out Glen Durrant in a 6-5 win with a 99 average. He came from 4-1 down and produced a brilliant 130 checkout to claim the win in the decider. Whitlock also came through a close clash against Cristo Reyes with a 6-4 win over the Spaniard. Finally Ross Smith continued his form as of late averaging 98 with 50 percent on his doubles in a 6-4 victory over Peter Wright.
