The first semi-final has been confirmed in Dortmund at the European Championship with Joe Cullen reaching his first major semi-final facing Simon Whitlock later.

Cullen produced a comeback of epic proportions coming from 6-1 down to defeat ‘Voltage’ 10-8. The Bradford ace finally has his chance in the latter stages of a major tournament and one that could very likely see a first time winner.
They were averaging similar even when Cross went off the boil but Cullen showed real grit and determination to take the lead finally. In the final leg, he made no mistake taking out 59 for the victory and mark his best run ever on TV.
Now the attention turns to the next quarter of the draw with home hero Max Hopp and James Wade among the players looking to make it to the semi-finals.
