Max Hopp has continued his groundbreaking run at the European Championship in Dortmund by seeing off Darren Webster in what was an exhibition of fine finishing.

Hopp hit ten out of sixteen on his doubles and hit finishes of 164, 126 and 124 on the way. Webster had finishes of 138 and 120 but could not live with the Maximiser towards the end.
Hopp also averaged 94 and will face off against James Wade in the second semi-final later this evening. His run to the semi-final has a feel to Saarbrucken about it with the crowd acting as the extra catalyst.
