Cullen facing battle to be fit for UK Open after suffering injury

Joe Cullen is facing a battle to be fit for the UK Open it has been revealed. The World Number 18 suffered a freak injury sorting out his garage and now his place in Minehead is in doubt.
Cullen is meant to be playing Jose Justicia Perales in round 2 after missing out on a top 32 spot. This could prove a tough test for the Bradford man especially if he is not fighting fit.
Perales is known for having an altercation with Adrian Lewis recently; but has put in some good performances on tour.
The Rockstar took to Twitter with the following: “Sorting the garage out yesterday….felt something go in my back! Been to see an osteopath today and I’ve slipped a disc! Back there on Monday for acupuncture to try and get somewhere near to fighting fit in time for Minehead next week.”

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
