Darren Webster added his first win to his respective group. He defeated Danny Noppert who for spells of the match was not at the races but despite a late rally BDO could not pick up another win and it was a 5-2 win for the 'Demolition Man'. He averaged 103.44, hit 3 96 checkouts and 5/6 on his doubles to grab the two points to add to Daryl Gurney and Mark Webster's two who face off later.
Also Ross Montgomery got his first win and the first win of the night for the BDO side against Joe Murnan to keep his tournament hopes alive. He will face Rob Cross the only player he is yet to face tomorrow and showed quality which he showed in glimpses against Michael van Gerwen last night in the 5-3 win. He averaged 101 and hit four 180's, a 121 checkout and 62% on the doubles to also extinguish any hope of 'Shaggy' making it through to round 2.
