Steve Lennon showed his class with a 5-0 whitewash over Jamie Hughes in Group B to set up a potential showdown with Raymond van Barneveld tomorrow if he loses to Gerwyn Price. The Irishman continued to look good after yesterday's loss to the Iceman and averaged 100.2 with 55% on the doubles. It was an average of 74 for 'Yozza' who needs to go back to the drawing board after a poor weekend so far.
James Wade himself grabbed his first win and a big win at that defeating Australian Peter Machin to keep his hopes alive ahead of a game with Phil Taylor tomorrow. Wade did his hopes a massive amount of good winning 5-1 and punishing 1/8 on the doubles and despite not being at his best it will be good for 'the Machine' to get two points on the board after a horror show last night against Robbie Green.
