De Decker, Boulton & Schnier through to round two at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy

The opening round of the Gibraltar Darts Trophy continues from the Victoria Stadium with Mike de Decker, Andy Boulton & Hannes Schnier all through to Day 2 of the competition to face the seeded players.

De Decker defeated Matt Padgett in a good performance from the young Belgian. The Real Deal proved just that by hitting a 12 dart last leg with a 130 checkout on the bull to progress in the Gibraltar Darts Trophy.
A 95 average from him takes him through to face Gerwyn Price tomorrow and he could give the Iceman a real game if he plays well again.
Boulton made it through by defeating Ritchie Edhouse in a last leg decider match that was quality from both. 'X Factor' hit a 98 average to 'Madhouse's 97. He will face Stephen Bunting tomorrow who has played well so far this year.
Also Hannes Schnier is through in a match that wasn't very high quality compared to the others. 'The Ram' made light work of 'Rogue' Roy Asquez. The averages weren't very good and Schnier will have to improve to trouble Jonny Clayton tomorrow.
