De Zwaan defeats Lewis to reach maiden PDC major quarter-final at World Matchplay

Jeffrey de Zwaan has continued his landmark run at the World Matchplay by defeating another darting juggernaut in Adrian Lewis.

De Zwaan who claimed his first Pro Tour title this year after multiple finals has shown real determination and composure once again.
‘The Black Cobra’ hit x6 180’s and a high checkout of 120 as he saw off Lewis who mounted a late comeback and nearly sent it to overtime.
The Dutchman though went double double on a 94 finish with Lewis left to just stand their and applaud him.
