Brendan Dolan claimed another good victory as he saw off Mervyn King in the PDC World Darts Championship to reach the Last 16 for the first time.

Afterwards he admitted he was over the moon and despite not being at his best he said in his interview with Live Darts that a wins a win.
‘I’m buzzing, I’m really feeling great at the minute. I’m over the moon. Performance wise though I think it was sold but maybe not spectacular but I don’t care though, a wins a win,’ said Dolan.
In terms of his quarter of the draw and the seeds going out, Dolan has said that now he has had to alter his plans but that he believed in himself before the tournament to come through the seeds anyway.
‘I was totally aware of that, I had a plan for this tournament. Number four and five seeds are gone now so I’ve changed my plans.’
He added: ‘I expected to keep stepping forward, I believed in the effort that I was putting in and that it was going to come through.’
