The next tournament in the PDC calendar takes place this weekend with the World Series Of Darts Finals from Vienna on the agenda.
Last night at the European Championship, the draw for the World Series of Darts Finals was completed. Number one seed Peter Wright will face either Gerwyn Price or Royden Lam in the second round. Simon Whitlock is set for a tough test with either Steve Beaton or Daryl Gurney his opponent. Among the other potential clashes include Rob Cross versus Dimitri van den Bergh in a repeat of their World Championship thriller. As well as that Mensur Suljovic who will be the home favourite could face the in form and , James Wade. - I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
