The schedule and draw have been released for the Gibraltar Darts Trophy which will see the return of the European Tour after a short absence.
The action starts with the afternoon session at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy. Of the key ties they include Krzysztof Ratajski vs Michael Barnard, two on form players. Darius Labanauskas who reached the latter stages of the World Trophy last week faces Jeffrey de Graaf. Also Jamie Lewis will face Ross Smith with Smith returning to the site of his famous 9 darter which started the European Tour curse still not broken today. - Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
