The Grand Slam field on the PDC side is starting to take shape for the event taking place at Aldersley Leisure Village in November. These include Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross & Gary Anderson.
Also confirmed is Dimitri van den Bergh and Josh Payne through the World Youth Championship route where the winner and runner up collect spots at the tournament.
Corey Cadby, Michael Smith and Raymond van Barneveld will also be involved in the Grand Slam after coming through various routes to get there.
Jonny Clayton could also be involved in the tournament. The rest of the spots will be based on the rest of the tournaments ahead of the cut off.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention.
