Durrant wins with nearly 100 average at Winmau World Masters, Montgomery and Harms edged out

Glen Durrant has reached the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters after beating John Walton 3-1 in sets on Friday afternoon.

The two-time Lakeside champion played a very decent game with 99 average, almost ten points higher then his opponent (89). Durrant will meet Gary Stone in the next round of the Winmau World Masters. The Scotsman beat Scott Baker with the same scoreline.
Another Scotsman will not return on stage on Saturday. Ross Montgomery was edged out by Mario Vandenbogaerde after four sets (1-3). Wesley Harms also lost his first game, as Eddie Mordica overcame the Dutchman after a set-decider.
