Rob Cross is the only seed to have survived the second round at the Dutch Darts masters so far.
'Voltage',as he has been recently nicknamed by manufacturers Target, was imperious in his 6-1 defeat of Welshman Jamie Lewis averaging 105.58. Cross, playing with new darts for the first time in a PDC event hit 5 180's and was 6 from 13 on the doubles as he restricted Lewis to just 2 darts at a double in the entire match.
The other 3 seeds to have played so far are all out.
Krzysztof Ratajski, the European tour ever-present this year took care of Jelle Klassen 6-3. The Polish eagle took out a 170 finish in the opening leg and led 4-0 before the Cobra got a leg on the board. Klassen had hss own monster ton plus finish in a 164 to claim his second leg, but he was unable to catch Ratajski and bows out early once again. A common theme since his wrist surgery earlier this year.
Alan Norris and Cristo Reyes were the other 2 seeds to fall. They both lost in last leg deciders to Mike De Dekker and Robert Owen respectively. Both games were up and down, with the lead changing hands more then once, but it was the un-seeded pair that came through and secured there place in the final day of action.
Robert Owen (92.38) 6-5 (88.33) Cristo Reyes
Mike de Decker 87.66 6-5 (87.66) Alan Norris
Rob Cross (105.58) 6-1 (93.60) Jamie Lewis
